Alien Ant Farm in Riverside
The Downtown Summer Street Jam returns with a very special hometown guest. Alien Ant Farm will headline the show, with support from the recently reunited Shoppy as well as 100 Proof, another Inland music standout. The Downtown Riverside Partnership and local businesses started the music series a few years back to help promote local music and local businesses.
The show will take place on Saturday Aug. 2 from 4 to 9 p.m. on University Avenue between Orange and Lemon Streets. Entrance is free, attendees are encouraged to bring chairs to the event. Umbrellas and coolers are not permitted. For more information visit riversidedowntown.org .
EastEnd Block Party
La comunidad artística de Santa Ana se unirá este fin de semana para celebrar la diversidad y las artes locales en el corazón de la ciudad. El evento incluirá dos escenarios y música uno dedicado al a música de DJ’s y el otro dedícado a la música en vivo. Algunos de los artistas que se presentarán incluyen: Soulection, Team Supreme, Cosmonauts, y los Mystic Braves entre muchos más. También habrá arte y murales bajo la curadoría de Marcas Gallery al igual que un show de bicicletas BMX organizado por Monster Energy.

¡Viva la tradición! voces y leyendas
Colibrí Entertainment celebra las legendarias voces de mujeres mexicanas que dejaron su marca dentro del mundo de la música regional mexicana. María Elena Leal Beltrán, hija de Lola “La Grande” Beltran, le pagará tributo a su madre cantando. Como parte de la tarde también se presentarán Deyra Barrera y Melinda Salcido rindiéndole tributo a Lucha Villa y Amalia Mendoza. Líderado por el reconocido José Armando Ronstadt y organizado por Las Colibrí, Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar, Plaza de La Raza Youth Mariachi y Ballet Folklor Pasión Mexicana.

Street Food Cinema
For your one-stop-shop in LA summer entertainment, follow the food trucks. Saturday evenings throughout August, Street Food Cinema throws together an outdoor party, complete with live music, tasty street fare, and a screening of your favorite movie. Most showings are held on the spacious lawn at Exposition Park. But locations vary from week to week, so make sure to double check before. Parking is available in their nearby lot for $10 per vehicle.
The upcoming shows will take place Saturday August 2 and will feature “Dazed and Confused” at Exposition Park in Los Angeles and “The Goonies” at Glendale Central Park in Glendale.
