FASHION: Tribal beat, Strong, geometric and exotic prints work for every occasion

| Imprime | Envía

Prints were the story on the spring runways, and we especially loved the edgy, colorful geometric look of tribal patterns seen at Chanel, Givenchy, Valentino and Alexander McQueen. A little bit bohemian, a little bit festival wear but 100 percent cool, a tribal print – with its reminiscence of the West – can add sass to any outfit for day or night.

En el trabajo

Any trend will work for the office if the silhouette is as classic as this Karen Millen knit sheath and the coat is this cool; add a pair of edgy sling-back mules, a studded clutch and you’re set to take on the boardroom. Switch out the coat for a blazer and the mules for a pump if your office is on the conservative side.

Una cita romántica

The jumpsuit is this year’s maxi. This one by Parker is as bright and lively as you want it to be, especially when topped with an off-white moto jacket and mirrored sandals sporting the hottest heel out there: block. For a more casual look, ditch the heels for flatbed sandals (aka “mandals” ) and top it off with a kimono in a contrasting yet complimentary pattern.

Almuerzo de fin de semana

A shorter version of the jumpsuit, a strapless romper with a tribal print top is the definition of easy dressing. Add a jean jacket, a fringed bib necklace, some ankle straps with a low, chunky heel for a breezy brunch-at-the-beach look. Amp up the look (but not too much) for date night with a colorful clutch, tons of bracelets up your arms and some shoulder-dusting earrings, but do not add sky-high heels unless you want the look to go from sexy to cheap.
