La fiebre del futbol llega a Riverside

El Riverside Art Museum estará presentando, “Obsession: The Stadium Photography and Soccer Shirt Collection of Jim Dow”, una exhibición fotografica que se enfoca en las diferentes facetas de la cultura del futbol por medio de imagenes tomadas por Jim Dow al rededor del mundo y que reflejan la importancia que el futbol tiene para algunas personas. Las fotografías incluyen estadios, clubes, y camisetas de alrededor del mundo entre otras cosas. La exhibición estará abierta del 5 de junio al 24 de agosto y coincide con la Copa Mundial de Futbol 2014.

El museo está abierto de martes a sábado de 10 a.m. a 4 p.m. y el domingo de 12 p.m. a las 4 p.m. Para más información sobre la exhibición puedes visitar www.RiversideArt Museum.org.

SummerFest

One of the largest community event in North Orange County, SummerFest, draws over 20,000 people every year with rides, food, and live entertainment. Downtown Brea will open its doors for everyone who wants to have a little fun and join in the event that over the year has become an Orange County tradition. Admission to SummerFest is always free, including the concerts.

SummerFest is held on the grounds of St. Angela Merici Church and School, located at 575 S. Walnut Ave in Brea and it will be taking place from Friday May 31 to Sunday June 1. For more information visit www.summerfestbrea.org .

Forever Flamenco!

“El Chupete” comes from Sevilla, Spain to headline this years edition of L.A.’s premier flamenco series, Forever Flamenco! at the Fountain Theatre. This month’s line-up also includes guitarist/artistic director Gabriel Osuna; singer Antonio de Jerez; percussionist Gerardo Morales; and dancers Mizuho Sato and Pamela Lourant.
