L.A. County Fair
La tradicional Feria del Condado de Los Angeles está a punto de comenzar el 29 de agosto y continuara hasta el 28 de septiembre, como es la tradicion. Todo se lleva a cabo en el Fairlplex de Pomona, ubicado en el 1101 W. McKinley Ave en la ciudad de Pomona. La entrada, tiene un costo de $19 los sábados y domingos y $12 de miercoles a viernes.

Convocatoria para artistas
The makers of the Herdez brand, is launching a T-shirt design contest in spirit of Día de los Muertos. The brand is calling out for artists in the greater Los Angeles area to submit their designs for the chance to be featured on the 2014 Herdez brand Día de los Muertos T-shirts, which will be up for sale and with all proceeds benefiting the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA).
The T-shirt contest is open to all LA artists, accepting submissions Aug. 19, 2014 through Sept. 14, 2014. The goal of the contest is to find a one-of-a-kind piece of art that is representative of this vibrant holiday. Artwork submitted should capture and convey the essence of the holiday through vitality, mystery and originality. The winning artwork will be featured as the signature 2014 HERDEZ brand Día de los Muertos t-shirt design. The winner will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and have their artwork displayed at MOLAA. Beer Festival
Si tu eres amante de la cerveza, hidratate bien y preparate para probar toda clase de cervezas en el El Huntington Beach Festival el sábado 23 de agosto en Huntington beach en el 21601 Pacific Coast Hwy. La Tocada
Recognized for bringing some of the biggest bands in Latin Rock Super Estrella will be holding its anual Tocada on Saturday October 11 at The Observatory in Santa Ana. This year the concert will be featuring Mago de Oz, Rata Blanca, Maldita Vecindad, Panteón Rococo, Angeles del Infierno, y Liran Roll.
